She shone like the stars at night when she grinned
Under the light of the moon as if she never sinned
Never failing to brighten the darkest of days
For she had the sun's power in each of her rays
Lighting up the world with the most hopeful of faces
Only the storm clouds could make her fall in her races
Wandering rarely from sun to shadow
Ever did the light shine on her meadow
Revealing the beautiful sunflower she was.

This was so beautiful! I am always amazed by your poetry. Actually, I have a favor to ask. You know how they have those snippets of poetry at the beginning of some chapters in books? May I use your poetry in my novel??? No one has read it yet, but I do plan to publish it someday and that is one of the things I would like to include in it.
